The Story Behind the Foundation
When I was a little girl, I watched my father suffer. Not from a lack of love — he had that — but from a lack of access. Access to the kind of healing that sees the whole person. Access to truth about what our bodies need. Access to someone who would sit with him and say: "There is another way."
He didn't get that. And watching him was the thing that cracked me open.
I spent my teenage years searching. At 15, I found myself in New Mexico, somehow finding the first whisper of something sacred. I started studying herbalism, nutrition, energy healing. I started asking questions that made people uncomfortable. Why are we so sick? Why is healing so expensive? Why does the system profit off our pain?
By the time I was 19, I knew what I was being called to build. It took 16 more years to grow the courage and the wisdom to actually do it.

The Equanimity Foundation was born from every tear I've cried over people I couldn't help because they couldn't afford it. Every time I watched someone suffer when I knew there was a better way. Every prayer whispered over someone who had given up.
This foundation is my answer to all of that. It is my father's healing — even if it comes too late for him. It is a promise to every child who will grow up watching a parent suffer, that someone is building something different. Something that sees them.

The Equanimity Foundation was established to bridge the gap between those who need healing support and those who can provide it. Through community programming, education, outreach, and partnerships — we fund the work that changes lives.
We are guided by faith, rooted in purpose, and committed to the belief that a healed community is a thriving community. Every dollar raised goes directly into programs that serve people who cannot always afford access to holistic care.
